Beloved Sprinter a memory-maker before it was a wish granter
Kimberly and her 2006 Dodge Sprinter put many kilometers on together — over 300,000 km, in fact. Exploring Alberta and BC, there were just too many favorite spots to count. Jasper, Banff, the Island. Each new spot seemed more lovely than the last and she often found herself delighted with her explorations and adventures.
Family is where Kimberley’s heart is, and her trusty Sprinter was the reliable chariot that allowed her to trek with her cross-country-travelling parents when they visited from the East Coast. More recently, some of those Western Province trips were taken with her daughter before she passed away. Kimberly’s memories of her daughter are held precious and close. Too close for words to be put to paper here. But it was with her child in mind that Kimberley’s hard -working Dodge found its way into our program as a donation on behalf of the Children’s Wish Foundation.

The Children’s Wish Foundation has been joyfully about the business of granting wishes to children with life-threatening illness for 30 years. We honor Kimberly as she selflessly gives of herself in this memorable and meaningful way.
Her fabulous Sprinter rolled into our program in auction-ready condition. It was put up for sale, as-is, to the highest bidder. When those bids came in close to the amount of a complete wish-grant we were over the moon! Kimberly’s child-honouring donation outcome will bring another child so very close to a realized dream. The Children’s Wish Foundation will expertly put her donated dollars to work.
