Yes, we most certainly do accept boats as a form of donation, however we can only accept them if they are auctionable (can be re-sold). We do not have any recycle agents who are able to accept recycle-ready boats. If it is auctionable, we ask that your boat be dropped off, including a trailer, at our nearest drop off location. This lessens the risk of high processing costs and potential losses.

If a drop off is not possible, please note that most of our agents do not have the equipment necessary for towing and storing vessels. If you are unable to drop the boat off, but do have a trailer to include in the donation, please proceed with your submission and we will explore our available options.

Boats that are in the water, or without a trailer, will not be considered for donation due to prohibitive transport costs.

All boats, regardless of year/model/condition, are sold unreserved, as-is to the highest bidder. As processing costs for boats can by high and sale outcomes unpredictable we cannot guarantee a market value outcome on the sale of your donated boat.

Please note that the serial number field requires 17 digits in order for the submission to be accepted. If your boat’s serial number has less than 17 digits, please add zeros to the end of your number to meet this requirement.

Thank you for your interest in our program!

We are sorry to say that our organization only accepts vehicles as a form of raising donations for registered Canadian charities. We make all arrangements for the vehicles to be sold and then a donation is made to the charity selected by the vehicle owner.

Unfortunately, we do not have vehicles that are available to give away for other uses.

May we suggest posting an ad on Kijiji or Facebook? This may give broad exposure to this need – hopefully with generous results.
