Paying It Forward – Janice Makes it Happen for the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation

Alberta Institute for Wildlife ConservationOn any given day, Janice would jump out of bed and get to the water with her kayak. If she had company join her at Eagle Lake, the canoe got wet too. The awe-inspiring sunrises while she watched the birds were nothing less than spectacular. That’s the kind of living most of us dream about.

Pelicans, yellow headed black birds, loons – who wouldn’t enjoy the peace invoked in such serene surroundings? That’s exactly how Janice feels, but it’s time for a change in her world. After 4 years of tranquil summers at the Lake in her Gulf Stream Kingsport 24, a change in life circumstances has turned her interests more towards international travel – specifically of the expedition/adventure type!

Life is very, very good for Janice and she has much to look forward to! With her decision to donate the trailer and the boats, her desire is for someone else to enjoy their down time as much as she has, and she also wants the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation to benefit from the sale of the RV.

When asked why she doesn’t sell the trailer herself, she expressed appreciationAlberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation 2 for our organization and the facilitation process between “ordinary people who want to help” and the charities they love. Janice wasn’t all that interested in going through the hassle it would take to look after it herself, so is rather delighted that she can give to AIWC with ease.

With this pristine trailer being completely winterized, it is all ready for storage, or for your fall outings while the getting is good! The top notch kayak and canoe will also be sold at auction, and we are beyond thrilled to see this kind of generosity extended to one of our deserving charities.

At Donate A Car Canada, one of our greatest joys is our ability to provide donors an alternative way to give, and to match up that generosity with the charities of your choice.

This is another exciting venture as we anticipate the successful sale of the Gulf Stream and the funds it will generate towards the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation.

Update: Janice’s RV resulted in a donation of over $7000.00! So much gratitude for the privilege of sharing in this adventure!
