Having retired, I could no longer afford the licence fees, insurance, parking and upkeep of my car. I was so pleased to discover that I could donate it to my favourite charity, the Toronto Humane Society, without lifting a finger (except to send them an email). They (Donate a car) sent a pick-up to my home the very next day and that was the end of it. So easy!
