Car Donation Program – In Honor of Mom and Dad

In 2013 our family lost our mother due to a rare disease called Pulmonary
Hypertension. We contacted the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of
Canada to see if they had a car donation program like the Kidney Foundation.
They did not but found that we could put the car up for auction with Donate
A Car Canada and PHA would receive the donation. As a result of that
transaction PHA soon became a listed charity with *Donate A Car*.

Sadly not too long after losing our mother, our father was diagnosed with
Lung Cancer. When he entered the Dorothy Ley Hospice in 2014 we told the
Hospice about *Donate A Car*, they too became a listed charity with *Donate
A Car*.

Ours dealing with *Donate A Car* have always been positive. The 
organization is well run, and the staff is very professional. We
appreciate all they have done for us during what was a difficult time, and
we think it wonderful that these two charities close to our heart have
another venue to help raise donations for their organization.
