Vehicle Donation – Opening the Doors to Charities Nationwide
Donate a Car Canada makes it easy for ANY Canadian Charity to benefit from a vehicle donation nationwide. Most charities are not set up to directly receive vehicles as a form of donation. The process is too complicated. It is time consuming, and costly for them the charity. This makes it a difficult or impossible form of fundraising.
Our simple process makes it possible for more charities to benefit from the generosity of donors like you. We expertly handle all aspects of processing your used cars so that we can send the net sale proceeds to the charity. Then you receive a tax-deductible receipt within 1 week of them receiving your gift.

At Chalmers, we strive to make our contribution a meaningful one. We’ve listened to our guests, and put together programs that reflect the needs we’ve heard. We offer a warm and respectful place where our guests can receive food, choose clothing and enjoy company and conversation. We ...provide these services without means-testing to people who are unemployed, underemployed, between jobs or awaiting compensation. In 2020, we welcomed over 12,000 guests! We have 5 staff members and about 100 volunteers who run our programs. Our Board of Directors makes decisions about the overarching direction that Chalmers is moving in. Our mission is to advocate for and deliver practical and meaningful programs that empower guests to improve their lives. Our vision: a world without poverty, where communities are flourishing with dignity, equality and food security for all.
