<p>Subaru donations raise the bar high for Canadian donors!</p>

<span id="more-11070"></span>

<h2>Supporting Canadian wildlife through Subaru donations</h2>

<p><a href="https://www.woodlandswildlifesanctuary.ca/">Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary</a> is signed up! A generous Subaru Outback donor connected to donate their vehicle and named the refuge as their charity of choice. How exactly does this work?</p>

<p>Are you considering vehicle donation? Did you know that you can donate your van, truck, car, SUV, or motorcycle for ANY Canadian charity? </p>

<p>Your first stop is our online donation form. This will take you less than 10 minutes to complete. &#8216;Trouble with the form? Give us a call at <strong>1-877-250-4904</strong>. We have lovely, funny, efficient <strong>humans happy to take your call.</strong></p>

<p>Then, sit back and wait for our agent to give you a buzz to set up your free tow (Yup! Free!). After that? Just watch your in box for your tax receipt.</p>

<p>When you filling in your form you&#8217;ll find our list of charities. It is a long, <em>long </em>list! One recent donor jokingly said, &#8220;This process was all so easy&#8230;except scrolling all the way down to the &#8220;W&#8217;s&#8221; to find my chosen charity!&#8221; </p>

<p>How did charities get on that list?</p>

<p>Donor&#8217;s like our recent <strong>Subaru saint </strong>requested that the charity they love be added to the list. If your beloved local, regional, or national work is not already on our list you&#8217;ll be able to request that we get &#8216;er done. And we will!</p>

<h2>What is the donation value of a Subaru?</h2>

<p>The first &#8220;value&#8221; of every vehicle donation is the experience itself. You can expect exceptional donor support and the thrill of knowing you&#8217;ve made a difference for the cause you care about.</p>

<p>The Outback donor we mention above wrote in to say, &#8220;&#8216;<strong>Application online was very fast and easy with a well designed online application. Response after application was prompt and informative. Tow service was prompt, friendly and efficient. They went above and beyond as I accidently locked all of the keys in the car as I prepared it for pickup. The driver came to the location of the car and patiently gained access then drove the car back to his shop with dealer plates. I found him very friendly, skilled and patient. A totally positive experience!</strong>&#8220;</p>

<h3>But what about actual dollars and cents!?</h3>

<p>An excellent experience is one thing. Making <strong>a cash-in-hand difference for the charity is next level! </strong>In the instance above, the Subaru was recycle ready and raised a donation of several hundred dollars for the WWS.</p>

<p>Salvage or scrap ready, every Impreza, Outback, Legacy, Forester, or Tribeca counts! Thousands of donation dollars are raised for charities like yours through these donations every year. <strong>Just a few</strong> of those charities in the last couple of months:</p>

<p>Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation</p>

<p>The Ottawa Mission</p>

<p>Hope for Wildlife Society</p>

<p>MS Canada</p>

<p>Toronto Cat Rescue</p>

<p>and G.R.I.S. &#8211; Montreal</p>

<p>We could keep this list growing, but there&#8217;s more to learn!</p>

<h3>What if my car is in great condition and not ready for the scrap yard?</h3>

<p>Whenever possible, our agents work diligently and capably to re-sell donated vehicles. This can be done through auction where vehicles are sold as-is to the highest bidder. Or, an agent might shop the Subaru (or any other amazing make) around to their substantial base of interested vehicle buyers.</p>

<p>Where a recycle-ready vehicle can bring in hundreds of dollars, a re-sale ready vehicle can bring in several thousand. Here is an example or two:</p>

<p>$1,232.25 was raised for the HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre! Thanks for donating your XVC, K.M.!</p>

<p>A &#8217;92 SVX sold for $1,000.00. The donor&#8217;s chosen charity? BC Professional Fire Fighters&#8217; Burn Fund.</p>

<p>$1,185.87 went to the Parkinson Association of Alberta thanks to J.R.&#8217;s Impreza donation!</p>

<h2>Ready to roll with your own make-a-difference donation?</h2>

<p><strong>As we speak, we&#8217;re working on seventeen (17!) Subaru donations. Just this month alone! </strong>Whatever the make, model, mileage, and muster of your unused/unwanted vehicle, we&#8217;ll make it count for the cause you care about. We&#8217;re ready to put the pedal to the metal for you and your charity today!</p>

</div></div>

<span id="more-5174"></span>

<h2>Why would I donate my car for cancer?</h2>

<p>Friends, how many of us have been closely affected by some form of cancer? Perhaps you have faced into a diagnosis yourself? Most certainly someone you love has gone toe-to-toe with one form of this disease or another.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://cancer.ca/en/research/cancer-statistics/cancer-statistics-at-a-glance?gclid=Cj0KCQjw5ZSWBhCVARIsALERCvy7Od5yA4lGCAeKkR0H1e9UfKIypbBOrdkjlViBddvltlovkEYz-mAaAnpPEALw_wcB">the Canadian Cancer Society</a>, </p>

<p>&#8220;Researchers estimated that there would be 233,900 new cancer cases and 85,100 cancer deaths in Canada in 2022. (The number of estimated new cases does not include non-melanoma skin cancer cases.)</p>

<p>Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada and is responsible for 28.2% of all deaths.&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>Research, care, education, and all kinds of support are being capably tended in Canada! </strong>There are medical professionals, caregivers, and really smart people tackling this enormous issue. For us! <strong>One way we can participate in all of that Goodness? We can help fund programs that know how best to get after it! </strong>Vehicle donation is one generous way to do that.</p>

<h2>Choosing a charity | Your car, your cause!</h2>

<p>Donate a Car Canada is set up to serve ANY Canadian charity (and there are thousands of charities in our great country!). Many of them are specific to cancers of all sorts. Some organizations are dedicated to grief support. Children&#8217;s cancers and related care are the heartwork of many. Others are all about research and finding cures. Here is a quick list of some of the charities you can keep in mind as you consider vehicle donation:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table><tbody><tr><td>After Breast Cancer</td></tr><tr><td>Alberta Cancer Foundation (Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Cross Cancer Institute)</td></tr><tr><td>Bladder Cancer Canada</td></tr><tr><td>Canadian Cancer Society</td></tr><tr><td>CancerCare Manitoba</td></tr><tr><td>Cancer Assistance Program (CAP)</td></tr><tr><td>HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre</td></tr><tr><td>Kidney Cancer Canada</td></tr><tr><td>Leukemia and Lymphoma Society</td></tr><tr><td>Melanoma Network of Canada</td></tr><tr><td>Northern Cancer Foundation</td></tr><tr><td>Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation</td></tr><tr><td>Ovarian Cancer Canada</td></tr><tr><td>Prevent Cancer Now-Hills of Erin Cancer Prevention Foundation</td></tr><tr><td>Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation</td></tr><tr><td>Prostate Cancer Foundation BC</td></tr><tr><td>Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation</td></tr><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td>Thyroid Cancer Canada</td></tr><tr><td>West Island Cancer Wellness Centre</td></tr><tr><td>Believe in the Gold</td></tr><tr><td>Camp Quality Canada</td></tr><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td>Candlelighters Simcoe</td></tr><tr><td>Childcan, the Childhood Cancer Research Association</td></tr><tr><td>Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation</td></tr><tr><td>Gaby Davis Foundation</td></tr><tr><td>Kids Cancer Care Foundation</td></tr><tr><td>Kids with Cancer Society of Northern Alberta</td></tr><tr><td>OPACC Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer<br>Wellspring Calgary</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h2>How do I donate my car for cancer?</h2>

<p>This is the easy part! We have a 5 &#8211; 10 minute donation form all set up for you. Fill that in and hit the &#8220;complete&#8221; button. From there, it&#8217;s all on us! We will make arrangements for your free pick-up. Our agents will send payment for your vehicle. If the car is recycled, we will see a set return on behalf of your charity of choice (this can be up to $600.00 in the current market). Our agent may be able to re-sell your donated vehicle! In that event, the limit is only as high as buyers are willing to bid!</p>

<p>When a donated car, truck, van, SUV, or motorcycle is put up for bids, the donation outcome can be hearty! This spring saw a donation of just under $2000.00 from one Yaris donor. This is the new normal! We are seeing wonderfully strong sale outcomes in our strangely disrupted re-sale market. This is a great benefit to the charity you love!</p>

<p>There is no cost to you, and there is never any cost to your charity.</p>

<p>We are so excited to work with you on your cancer car donation! We are a click or a call (1-877-250-4904) away and happy to assist.</p>
