Abbey Cat Adoptions — the who, what, where, and why

Abbey Cat Adoptions welcomes you to their website with a reminder,

The kitten rescue is a registered charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for abandoned cats and kittens in the Greater Toronto Area. They work closely with foster homes and potential adopters to find a suitable match between families and their new pet.

Due to an overwhelming number of kittens born each year there are hundreds of healthy young cats and kittens who are at risk of euthanasia in overcrowded shelters or exposure to the elements in the coming winter months.
It is their mission to find a permanent and loving home for each Abbey Cat and many others who are waiting to enter the program.

They rely on donations from the public as they are not a government-funded agency but rather a grassroots organization made up of caring people like yourself. Please visit their Donations page for more information.

Abbey Cat Adoptions serves in the GTA, but if kitty care is your heart work, there is absolutely a cat rescue near you!

If you visit our Donate a Car Canada “Charities” page you can search for your local kitty charity. We absolutely love working alongside all of our animal rescues and shelters. There is something really special about the charities themselves, and their devoted donors. ‘Just so much loving care in these communities!

And remember! ‘Can’t find the SPCA or animal welfare community that you support on our list? ANY registered Canadian charity can receive your donation. There’s an amazingly comprehensive list at CanadaHelps, too!
